Asphalt Contractors Inc, located in Union Grove WI, is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Lowboy Driver/Equipment Hauler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites using a lowboy trailer
- Operate vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the equipment and trailer
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Ensure proper loading and securing of equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and order of equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and on-site personnel
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Experience operating a lowboy trailer
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical labor as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
