Job Description: Lowboy Driver / Equipment Hauler

Asphalt Contractors Inc, located in Union Grove WI, is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Lowboy Driver/Equipment Hauler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites using a lowboy trailer
  • Operate vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the equipment and trailer
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations
  • Ensure proper loading and securing of equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of equipment
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and on-site personnel
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
  • Experience operating a lowboy trailer
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical labor as needed
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
