Curb Slip Machine Operator
Asphalt Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Curb Slip Machine Operator to join our growing team. We are a second-generation, family-owned company that has been serving Southeastern Wisconsin for over 45 years, performing asphalt paving, concrete, grading, milling, and maintenance work for commercial, municipal, and retail clients.
This position is responsible for operating curb slipform equipment safely and efficiently on a variety of concrete projects including curb & gutter, islands, sidewalks, and related flatwork.
Pay
- $40–$50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities
- Operate curb slipform / curb machine equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and follow site layout, string lines, grades, and project specifications
- Work closely with concrete crews, foremen, and grading personnel
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Maintain quality workmanship and production standards
- Follow all company safety policies and jobsite safety requirements
- Assist with additional concrete or site work activities as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience operating curb slipform or similar heavy equipment required
- Knowledge of concrete curb and gutter installation practices
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain straight, consistent curb lines
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL is a plus
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work overtime and seasonal hours as needed
