We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Asphalt Maintenance Superintendent to lead and oversee our asphalt maintenance division. Job Summary:

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the asphalt maintenance division, ensuring that crews deliver high-quality results and meet deadlines. You will oversee services such as seal coating, crack filling, striping, and patchwork while fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the asphalt maintenance division, including seal coating, crack filling, striping, and patchwork projects.
  • Plan and schedule work to meet deadlines and ensure optimal crew utilization.
  • Train, mentor, and manage maintenance crews to maintain high-quality standards and safety compliance.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure proper usage and care.
  • Monitor project budgets, materials, and labor costs to ensure profitability.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols.

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in asphalt maintenance operations (seal coating, crack filling, striping, patchwork, etc.).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets and schedules.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks as needed.
