We are looking for a motivated and experienced Plants and Pits Superintendent to oversee our operations at 2 asphalt plants, 2 aggregate pits, and 3 crushing yards. Job Summary:

In this vital role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operations of multiple facilities, including asphalt plants, aggregate pits, and crushing yards. You will lead and coordinate production activities, manage plant and pit personnel, and ensure all work is performed according to quality standards and safety protocols. Your strong leadership and problem-solving skills will be key to optimizing production and keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and lead operations at multiple asphalt plants, pits, and crushing yards, ensuring efficient production and quality results.
  • Supervise and direct plant and yard personnel, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.
  • Coordinate production schedules to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and interface with customers, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, including MSHA regulations, to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Schedule and oversee routine maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the availability of raw materials.

Job Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in asphalt or aggregate production with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of asphalt plant operations, aggregate crushing, and production processes.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, including MSHA, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet production goals.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
